Ladies in red commanded the crowd's attention Sunday night at the Nokia Theatre, smoldering in shades of crimson, cherry and deep scarlet on the red carpet of the Golden Globes. Newcomer Lupita Nyong'o of "12 Years a Slave" validated the fashion forecasters who predicted her red-carpet dominance in 2014. The caped Ralph Lauren gown in a Crayola primary looked regal, elevated by androgynous cropped hair and minimal accessories.
